As a physician, Amrit hopes to continue to combine his experience in healthcare and AI as well as learn from innovators in different fields. He is currently a Panel Physician with the Government of Canada and completing a Masters of Artificial Intelligence at the Smith School of Business. He completed his medical school training in Calgary, and residency in Toronto. He also completed a master’s in public health with a focus on social determinants from Queens University. Currently, he is a co-founder of the Global Alliance of Digital Transformation and AI connecting data scientist students with leading corporations and a member of the Vector Institute AI Scholarship recipients. Amrit was a presenter at the AMS Healthcare Conference this year focusing on AI and Healthcare Education in Canada.
