Cheryl started her career in the labour movement as a member of IBEW Local 2228, where she worked for NAV Canada as an Air Traffic Management Technologist, maintaining radar and flight planning systems. During her time with Local 2228 she was elected as 1 of 6 Regional Representatives to her Executive Board. She is currently an International Representative for IBEW Canada where her portfolio covers a range of Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. Last November, Cheryl coordinated an IBEW Canadian Women’s conference which was attended by 115 delegates from across Canada. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Technology and Electronics Technologist Diploma from RCC Institute of Technology.
