Morgan, Nicole

Nicole is the Assistant Deputy Minister of Public Schools for the Yukon Government and a part-time fiddle player. She has worked in education as a secondary teacher, counsellor, post-secondary instructor, curriculum consultant and director of learning. Currently, she is responsible for transforming learning in Yukon schools by implementing a modern skills-based curriculum, expanding use of mobile technology and renewed partnership with Yukon First Nations. Nicole is a leader in the Network of Inquiry and Innovation and Aboriginal Enhancement Schools Network in British Columbia. She is honored that her work can contribute to reconciliation and innovation in Canada.
