Audrey Moores, an Associate Professor of chemistry at McGill University in Montreal, is working on the development of new environmentally friendly materials and procedures, including bioplastics derived from crustacean shells. From 2007 to 2017, she held the Canada Research Chair in Green Chemistry, and she is often featured in the media. Audrey is a member of the board of directors of GreenCentre Canada, an Ontario-based technology transfer company. At the invitation of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), she gave an intensive course on green chemistry to South African policymakers in 2018.
