Audrey Moores is a Professor of chemistry at McGill University in Montreal and a member of the Royal Society of Canada. She is working on the development of new environmentally friendly materials and procedures, including bioplastics derived from crustacean shells, and sits on the science committees of four research institutes worldwide involved in sustainable development. She appears regularly in the media and speaks at schools to promote green chemistry, sustainable development and scientific work in French as well as to encourage diversity at the university level.
