Kashi, Kesang

Kesang was born in Delhi in a camp for Tibetan refugees. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from McGill University and a College Diploma in Social Sciences from Dawson College. As president of a union local representing 1,600 Via Rail Canada and Canadian National employees, Kesang works for the defence of workers’ rights. She has also held the position of equity coordinator for Unifor to ensure representation and inclusion for groups seeking fair treatment.
