Anna is Inuk, born and raised in Iqaluit, Nunavut. She is currently the Executive Director, Strategic Planning with Executive & Intergovernmental Affairs for the Government of Nunavut. Prior to this position she worked at Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami as the Director of Health and Social Development. She has spent her career working with and for Inuit. She holds a Bachelor of Science Advanced Double Major in Psychology and Sociology. Anna volunteers at her daughter’s day care and is currently Chair of the Board of Directors for the childcare centre.
