John is an experienced executive with a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a strong background leading and negotiating; developing talent; and creating operational, technical, and financial solutions as a trusted technology partner. As the Head of IT Operations for the Mastercard Foundation, he plays a critical role provisioning IT support globally for the Foundation’s business goals – seeking a world where everyone has the opportunity to learn and prosper – by aligning and calibrating the Foundation’s technology deployment strategy with its business strategy. John holds a BComm and a MSc from the University of Guelph. Prior to his work at the Mastercard Foundation, he held leadership roles at some of Canada’s most iconic corporations – CIBC, BlackBerry and Home Hardware Stores Limited.
When not at work, John keeps busy as a husband and as the father of five amazing children.
