Jimmy is the Director of Marketing at the Nunavut Eastern Arctic Shipping and have also served for 28 years in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police/Peace Officer, where he held various positions like Federal Enforcement, Drug Awareness Program and general duties as Constable. He is an Arctic Survival Instructor, he volunteers for search and rescue for the City of Iqaluit, as well as with Angutiit Ikayuqatigiit, which is a men’s healing group. In 2013 Jimmy received the Order of Nunavut for Community Service and Policing. He is the recipient of the Duke of Edinburgh award. Jimmy enjoys hunting, fishing and time with family.
