Deborah holds a Hons. BA, M.Ed., OCT and is a vice-principal with the Toronto District School Board, where she served in one of the largest dual track K-6 elementary schools and currently in a large inner city middle school. Fluently trilingual, she has taught from K-adult levels in Canada and abroad, worked as a system instructional leader in French as a second language programming, also as a central K-12 learning coach supporting several schools with instructional approaches centred in equity achievement and student well-being. Deborah is an active volunteer with Literal Change, supporting literacy education in vulnerable and marginalized communities. She resides in Toronto with her husband and two teenage sons.
