Justin is Michif (Métis) from Saskatoon in Treaty 6 and Métis Territory, and currently lives in Toronto in territories covered by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant. Justin is passionate about rethinking philanthropy, youth leadership, and building movements of solidarity across different communities. He currently works at Mastercard Foundation co-developing and delivering the EleV program, which focuses on improving Indigenous youth education and employment outcomes in pursuit of living the good life. Justin is also a WEF Global Shaper, 2018 Frances Lankin Award winner, 2017 CivicAction DiverseCity Fellow, and a co-founder of The Mamawi Project.
