Robyn Rowe is an Anishinaabekwe [First Nations woman] of mixed ancestry, a mother of four, and a PhD candidate in the School of Rural and Northern Health at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario. Robyn is also a Research Associate in Indigenous health and a Sessional Professor in Indigenous Social Work at Laurentian University. Robyn’s research pursuits include a focus on Indigenous data sovereignty and governance within a health context. As an emerging leader in Indigenous health research, Robyn’s international and national community-driven research approaches aim to contribute to the growing landscape on Indigenous data sovereignty in Canada and around the world.
