Shaheen is the Senior Manager of the Critical Infrastructure Protection Program Office at BC Hydro. She has 20 years of leadership experience in the technology and energy sector in cybersecurity, strategic planning, risk management, product management, regulatory, and engineering. Her goal is to have a positive impact on Canadians through her work, community service and family. She has previously served on the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade’s Diversity & Inclusion Leadership Council Advisory Board, ISACA Vancouver, BC Hydro Women’s Network Advisory Committee and Aga Khan Religious Education Board. As a female engineer, technology leader, and mother, she has a passion for developing females and encouraging diversity in STEM to take advantage of the growing opportunities in the technology sector.
