It was 2004 and Kelly had been working for multiple seasons with the Calgary Flames when she decided to use the NHL lockout as an opportunity to travel the world. Upon her return, she came to the realization that she was indeed the “free spirit” that everyone had always seen. She has traveled across Canada with the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay and in 2014 with Clara’s Big Ride for Bell Let’s Talk. She uses her vulnerability to build trust within teams and bridge worldviews, which has been an integral role as Director of Development with YukonU. Whether on the mountain trails or collaborating with colleagues, the Yukon has allowed her to evolve professionally and personally.
