National Director, Political Action and Communications, Canadian Labour Congress
A lifelong advocate for working people, Brent Farrington serves as the National Director of Political Action and Communications at the Canadian Labour Congress, Canada’s largest labour organization, representing more than three million workers across every sector of the economy. Brent has helmed five federal election cycles for the labour movement and played a central role in securing landmark reforms, including national childcare, dental care, federal anti-scab legislation, sustainable jobs policy, asbestos bans, and stronger health and safety standards for workers nationwide. When not working, he can be found woodworking or on hiking trails with his dog, partner, and friends.
