Director, Experiential Learning, Toronto Metropolitan University

Anita Abraham is driven by the big questions: how people learn, how different forms of knowledge can transform lives, and how education can be designed for justice. With over 20 years in higher education, she combines reflection, systems thinking, and a relational approach to design programs, student opportunities, and community partnerships that have a meaningful impact. She is the Director of Experiential Learning at Toronto Metropolitan University and President of the CEWIL Canada Board of Directors, shaping national conversations on work-integrated learning. A past CivicAction DiverseCity and AFP Inclusion and Philanthropy fellow, Anita is completing her PhD at OISE, University of Toronto. Outside work and service, she’s a certified scuba diver, a Raptors fan (since day one), and always on the lookout for a fabulous muhammara.
