Alison stays connected and engaged with the Canadian non-profit sector through her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation and Canadian Society of Association Executives membership, and volunteering locally at her children’s parent council. Professionally, she contributes to associations and the Canadian research enterprise by supporting 1000+ members of the Canadian Association of Research Administrators. Sharing lived experiences on behalf of and with military families, Alison has been privileged with opportunities and platforms to speak and write on neurodiversity, self-advocacy and resilience. A Canadian military spouse and parent of four, Alison is passionate about supporting military families and building community.
