Anne is the Deputy Executive Director & COO at Vancouver Island Regional Library, where she leads strategic and operational planning for 39 branch libraries spread across 40,000 square kilometres of coastal British Columbia. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the BC Knowledge Network and the BC Library Association. Anne’s personal and professional interests include the evolution of libraries to meet changing community needs, reconciliation, community resiliency, economic transformation, literacy, stories and storytelling, knowledge building and climate issues.
