DJ has always been eager to share his culture with others, and he looks forward to doing so with his fellow GGCLC participants. Serving his community is something that he is thankful for and knowing that by playing a part in bringing his community forward, brings him great pride. Being married and raising a family so close to home is a huge source of personal happiness for DJ. He loves any opportunity to learn new ways of thinking and doing things; that is what’s most exciting about being chosen as one of this year’s conference participants.
