Blake is a full-time union negotiator for UFCW Local 832 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is also a Vice-President on the Manitoba Federation of Labour Executive Council, the local’s representative for UFCW Canada’s Political Action Committee and sits on the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives (CCPA) Manitoba Steering Committee.
Blake created a music magazine in the late 90s and then in the early 2000s a boutique advertising agency. Blake grew up in Kitchener and Owen Sound, Ontario until settling in Winnipeg in 2005. A father of two children, Blake enjoys his long-standing love of the Toronto Maple Leafs and spending time with family and friends.
