Wei William Tao is the founder and principal of Heron Law Offices, an immigration and administrative law firm based in Burnaby, British Columbia. His work focuses on the intersection of law, public policy, and community advocacy. Will recently completed an LLM thesis examining the impact of algorithmic decision-making on Canadian administrative law, approaching these issues through an administrative justice lens that informs his non-profit work, media commentary, and writing. Personally, Will is passionate about the sights, sounds, and tastes of Canada’s diasporic communities. His most important role is serving as devoted charioteer and pastiolo to his two Disney-obsessed preschool daughters.
