Umair Pervez serves as Director of Human Resources at the Calgary Police Service, leading major HR transformation in one of the most complex public service environments. His work includes modernizing HR service delivery, advancing digital HR systems, and supporting cultural and employee experience improvements. Prior to joining CPS, he worked as a management consultant, advising senior executives on the adoption of emerging technologies and building future-ready workforce capabilities. Umair is an Organizational Psychologist and holds an MBA, grounding his perspectives on strategy, workforce design, and organizational change. Recognized as a Calgary Top 40 Under 40 and Davos 50 Youth Leader, he continues to contribute to the broader dialogue on workforce innovation through teaching as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Calgary, as well as through mentoring and community leadership.
