As a lifelong resident of Fort McMurray Alberta, Todd has a deep knowledge of both the challenges and successes of the region’s “boom-and-bust” industry cycle. A paramedic by trade and currently working in the oil sands under emergency and security management, he is passionate about community resilience, public safety, and collaborative leadership. In recognition of his significant contributions, he was awarded the 2022 Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal. Beyond his profession, Todd actively volunteers his time and energy to various initiatives, boards and councils that strengthen communities both locally and nationally, helping society unite and prosper.
