Thalia Aspeslet weaves her personal and professional interests together through a lifelong commitment to family, community, and ancestral responsibility, guided by the Cree teachings of miyo pimatisiwin (living a good life) and wahkohtowin (relationship with all our relations). This journey deepened more than twenty years ago when she became a mother and continues to shape how she shows up in every setting. Thalia believes these teachings must be lived consistently, both personally and professionally, as a way of honouring ancestors and contributing what one is meant to give in this life—rooted in care, responsibility, and unconditional love.

Thalia Aspeslet concilie intérêts personnels et professionnels par un engagement de longue date envers la famille, la communauté et la responsabilité ancestrale, et s’inspire des enseignements cris du miyo pimatisiwin (mener une bonne vie) et du wahkohtowin (être en relation avec tous nos proches). Ce parcours s’est approfondi lorsqu’elle est devenue mère, il y a plus de vingt ans, et continue de façonner sa façon d’être peu importe la situation. Elle estime que ces enseignements doivent être mis en pratique en tout temps, tant sur le plan personnel que professionnel, afin d’honorer les ancêtres et de contribuer à ce que l’on est censé apporter dans cette vie, c’est-à-dire bienveillance, responsabilité et amour inconditionnel.
