Dr. Monty Ghosh is an internist, addiction medicine specialist, and health-systems researcher working at the intersection of clinical care, public health, and innovation for marginalized groups. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary, and a Harvard University graduate and commencement speaker. Dr. Ghosh has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications, delivered more than 300 invited lectures, and served as principal or co-investigator on over $38 million in competitive research funding. His work has informed national policy and been featured widely in Canadian and international media. He is the recipient of the Governor General’s Innovation Award and multiple national honours from the Canadian Medical Association and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, amongst others.
