Stephanie Dobler is a longshore foreman and union leader with two decades on the waterfront. She has represented her union at provincial, national, and international levels. Her activism began on the Young Workers Committee through community and social justice work. In 2021, Stephanie became one of a small group of pioneering women foremen, focusing on mentoring women and shaping the future of the industry. She currently serves on the International Longshore and Warehouse Union Local 514 and Canadian Area executive boards, where she helps implement policy and advocate for workers’ rights. Stephanie remains committed to growing as a leader within the ILWU.
