Shanley Matthews brings deep expertise gained through 20 years in federal policy, with a passion for putting people first through systems change, Indigenous policy, and equity work. She is presently Director of Advocacy at the Pacific Economic Development Agency (PacifiCan), leading strategies to advance economic development across B.C. She has also spent many years in front-line and advocacy work on homelessness. Originally from Winnipeg (and forever a prairie kid), she has lived in Alberta, Nova Scotia, Ontario and now Quebec. She holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from University of Manitoba and a Master’s in International Development from Dalhousie University.
