Rebecca Gill is a senior public-sector and academic executive with over twenty-two years of progressive leadership experience spanning provincial and federal governments and post-secondary education. Her professional interests focus on systems transformation, health workforce strategy, medical education, governance, and public-sector innovation. As Director of Strategic Priorities and Policy Development with the UPEI Faculty of Medicine, she advances medical education in Prince Edward Island through strategic planning, program and policy development, accreditation-aligned governance, and multi-partner health system integration. Her achievements include designing province-wide workforce strategies, leading complex cross-jurisdictional initiatives, and advancing equity-informed, evidence-based decision-making within highly regulated public systems, nationally recognized.
