Ray Geldreich is the Senior Advisor, Health, Safety, and Wellness for the Health Sciences Association of Alberta, working with healthcare professionals, employers, and regulators to advance physical and psychological safety. With over 15 years of experience in complex public-sector environments, Ray focuses on inclusive leadership that ensures frontline workers, particularly those whose voices are overlooked, are heard and meaningfully involved in decisions affecting their work and well-being. He believes safer systems and better outcomes emerge when knowledge, power, and responsibility are shared. His work includes contributing to national safety standards, advancing workplace mental health initiatives, and mentoring leaders in academic settings. Ray holds a Bachelor of Human Resources and Labour Relations and recently completed a master’s in international leadership.
