Assistant Director – Social Policy Nunavut Tunngavik Inc.
As an Inuk woman in Canada, Papatsi developed a passion for Inuit rights, self-determination, education, language and culture. This led to her starting her career at Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI), the Inuit Treaty Organization representing Nunavut Inuit, in 2021. She is currently the Assistant Director – Social Policy, within the Department of Social and Cultural Development at NTI, providing leadership and oversight of a team responsible for files that include education, language, child welfare, and justice.
