Opeyemi Kehinde is a national nursing student leader committed to advancing Canada’s sustainable prosperity through ethical leadership, interdisciplinary collaboration, and public service. As President of the Canadian Nursing Students’ Association, Opeyemi represents more than 30,000 students nationwide and previously served as Black Caucus Chair, championing inclusive governance and anti‑racism. They founded a nursing student club to strengthen peer leadership and community engagement and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. Opeyemi’s background includes work in nutrition innovation, microfinance reconciliation, and educational leadership. Their interests focus on health policy, systems leadership, and building equitable, resilient systems that support Canada’s long‑term social and economic wellbeing.
