Executive Director and Deputy Chief Forester, British Columbia Ministry of Forests

Norah White currently serves as British Columbia’s Deputy Chief Forester. She is recognized for delivering landmark legislative reforms for the province, and for leading complex initiatives that advance biodiversity, economic stability, and social governance through forestry. A registered professional forester and lifelong learner, Norah holds an Executive MBA from Simon Fraser University, a Bachelor in Forest Resources Management from the University of British Columbia and is an alumna of the BC Legislative Internship Program. Norah is a life-long resident of BC. She lives on beautiful Vancouver Island with her family.
