Minnie Annahatak loves being out on the land year round, gathering, hunting, and fishing, with a particular enjoyment of ice fishing in extreme winter conditions. She is also skilled in making Inuit clothing, creating warm and durable garments for her immediate and extended family. Deeply interested in politics and community leadership, Minnie is serving her third term on her local municipal council and has been appointed to the Kativik Regional Government Regional Council, where she was elected to the Executive Committee in 2024. Professionally, her interests centre on entrepreneurship, both social and enterprise based. She previously worked as an Education Consultant in Career and Community Development and has a strong passion for facilitation, workshop delivery, and one on one training. She currently serves as a coordinator of school support.

Minnie Annahatak adore passer du temps dans la nature en toute saison, pour y pratiquer la cueillette, la chasse et la pêche, particulièrement la pêche sur glace dans des conditions hivernales extrêmes. Elle aime aussi confectionner des vêtements inuits chauds et résistants pour ses proches. S’intéressant beaucoup à la politique et au leadership communautaire, elle en est à son troisième mandat au conseil municipal local. Elle a été nommée au conseil régional de l’Administration régionale Kativik, puis élue au comité exécutif en 2024. Sur le plan professionnel, elle s’intéresse principalement à l’entrepreneuriat, tant social qu’économique. Elle a précédemment travaillé comme conseillère en éducation dans le domaine du développement professionnel et communautaire et s’intéresse particulièrement à l’animation, à la tenue d’ateliers et à la formation individuelle. Elle occupe actuellement un poste de coordonnatrice du soutien scolaire.
