Micheline is an Inuk woman and public service leader committed to advancing reconciliation through values based, collaborative leadership. Her work focuses on strengthening Indigenous well being by supporting sustainable social and economic conditions that reflect Indigenous priorities and lived realities. She has led complex initiatives and partnerships with integrity and purpose, including her contribution to Pilimmaksaivik, the Federal Centre of Excellence for Inuit Employment in Nunavut. In recognition of this work, Micheline received the 2019 Public Service Award of Excellence and the Joan Atkinson Award for Public Sector Values. Personally, she is an avid seamstress and harvester, grounding her leadership in culture, land, and community.
