Lisha Hassanali is an award-winning communications and government engagement professional, currently on the strategic leadership team of Keystone Agricultural Producers. A former journalist, Lisha has reported for CBC Radio, CityTV, Omni and BBC. She is passionate about building vibrant, inclusive communities and serves as Vice-President of the Manitoba Queer Chamber of Commerce Board and as a director of The Counselling Foundation of Canada. She was recognized as one of Calgary’s Top 40 Under 40 and awarded the Governor General’s Golden Jubilee Medal for community service. Lisha enjoys watching Bollywood movies, walking everywhere, and exploring her new home city of Winnipeg.
