Lenora McLeod is Gwich’in from Nihtat Homeland in Inuvik NT. She has over a decade of experience working with Indigenous and territorial governments and organizations; and is recognized for her expertise in land administration, Indigenous governance and policy development. Known for her sound leadership and community passion, Lenora continues to support and advocate for strong, sustainable governance rooted in respect and partnership. Beyond her professional life, Lenora lives in Inuvik NT with her three children and husband. She is an active volunteer with local sport teams, organizations and a board member with her First Nation organization, the Nihtat Gwich’in Council and the Women in Mining and Energy NT Chapter.
