Kiran Kooner is a senior executive leader with more than 15 years of experience in local government, public policy, labour relations, and stakeholder engagement. As Executive Director of one of British Columbia’s largest union organizations, she leads major organizational change initiatives, develops standard operating procedures and policies, and continually improves systems to enhance efficiency, accountability, and service delivery. She also serves on the boards of Ishtar Women’s Resource Society and DIVERSEcity. Collaboration and shared success are central to her leadership approach, and she takes pride in building initiatives that foster meaningful community partnerships and create lasting impact.
