Senior Building Sustainability and Performance Consultant, WSP in Canada
Katarzyna Gajewska works in business development and as a senior sustainability and building performance consultant at WSP, focusing on innovative design approaches that link the built environment with human and environmental wellbeing, resilience, and long term energy stability. Through project advisory, proposal development, on site testing, and national sustainability strategy discussions, she translates creative ideas into lasting client value—an approach that helped her team win first place in a Future Cities sustainability case competition in Denmark. Inspired by Indigenous innovation and vernacular architecture, including the Siksika Nation’s 3D printed concrete homes, Katarzyna also pursues a fine arts practice as a part time student at Alberta University of the Arts, where her 3D printed clay works explore material, form, and community dialogue and have been exhibited in local galleries.
