Jonny is a proud father, and 2SLGBTQIA+, Metis, labour activist, and leader in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is committed to fostering worker solidarity through our intersectional identities and is a tireless advocate for the fair and equitable treatment of all peoples. He represents as the 2SLGBTQIA+ Diversity Vice-President with CUPE MB, CUPE MB Human Rights Committee, and Chairs the Equal Rights & Opportunity Committee. Jonny is a graduate of the Labour College of Canada, Co-chair of the CUPE National Pink Triangle, represents CUPE on the CLC Solidarity and Pride Working Group, and educates Union members as a National Member Facilitator.
