Jean‑François Guilbault est président du Syndicat de Champlain (CSQ) à Granby, au Québec. Représenter, défendre et accompagner ses pairs guident ses intérêts et ses actions au quotidien. Enseignant au secondaire, il est fier d’avoir contribué au développement des générations futures en misant sur le potentiel de chacun de ses élèves. Son engagement au sein du Syndicat de Champlain, d’abord comme militant, puis comme conseiller, vice‑président et enfin président, lui permet de porter cet engagement encore plus loin depuis près d’une vingtaine d’années. Sa plus grande fierté demeure toutefois son rôle de père d’une jeune adulte de 22 ans. L’accompagner dans son parcours représente pour lui le plus grand des privilèges.

A high school teacher by training, he is proud to have contributed to the development of future generations by focusing on the potential of each student. His work with the Syndicat de Champlain—as an activist, advisor, vice president, and now president—has strengthened this commitment over the past twenty years. Above all, Jean François is most proud of being the father of a 22 year old young adult, whom he considers it a privilege to support on her journey
