Formée en sciences sociales à l’Université d’Ottawa et à la London School of Economics, Isabel oriente son parcours en appui au bien-être collectif. Elle a d’abord œuvré dans des contextes humanitaires internationaux, participant à des opérations lors de conflits et de catastrophes majeures, notamment au Moyen-Orient, en Asie et en Haïti. Elle a par la suite contribué à une réponse locale concertée lors d’urgences au Québec, entre autres durant la Covid, lors de feux de forêt et sur l’itinérance. Dans son travail, Isabel valorise des collaborations intentionnelles et proactives entre équipes et partenaires afin de maximiser l’impact collectif. Dans ses temps libres, elle aime découvrir et encourager les producteurs et artisans locaux.

With a background in social sciences from the University of Ottawa and the London School of Economics, Isabel has dedicated her career to promoting the collective well-being of communities. She initially worked in international humanitarian settings, participating in operations during conflicts and major disasters, notably in the Middle East, Asia, and Haiti. She subsequently contributed to a coordinated local response to emergencies in Quebec, including during the COVID-19 pandemic, wildfires, and efforts to address homelessness. In her work, Isabel values intentional and proactive collaboration between teams and partners to maximize collective impact. In her free time, she enjoys discovering and supporting local producers and artisans.
