Geneviève Gariépy is driven by a love of physics and a deep commitment to environmental stewardship. She works in the space sector to leverage satellite assets in support of planetary health and leads the Space Optics team at the Canadian Space Agency, advancing technology from the laboratory to orbit with a specialization in Earth observation. Geneviève is equally committed to equity and sustainability as catalysts for meaningful change. She founded the Montréal chapter of Soapbox Science to connect diverse STEM voices with the public, helping build a strong, inclusive community of women and allies in STEM through free, volunteer‑led events held throughout the year.
