Don Grant combines frontline operational expertise with provincial labour leadership. As President of the Emergency Communications Professionals of BC, he represents the workforce responsible for 99% of the province’s 9-1-1 call volume and dispatch for over 70 police and fire agencies. Don also serves as Metro Vancouver Regional Vice President for CUPE BC, advocating for over 100,000 members across the province. Professionally, Don is a Charge Fire Dispatcher, leading teams that provide critical emergency communications services for 40 fire departments across the province. His professional focus has been elevating 9-1-1 standards and fighting for the rights of working people everywhere.
