David Mitchell has been in the fire service for over 20 years and is currently a Fire Inspector with West Kelowna Fire Rescue. His work focuses on community risk reduction, public engagement, and education. He also serves on the union executive, supporting governance, financial oversight, and negotiations. David enjoys volunteering in the community and serves as Treasurer for the West Kelowna Firefighters Charitable Society. Outside of work, he prioritizes family life, outdoor recreation, and travel, and maintains a small backyard flock of chickens with his family, reflecting an interest in farming and hands-on learning.
