After graduating with Honours from Western University and winning the Vanier Cup (National Championship), Dave was drafted 16th overall in the CFL Draft to the BC Lions. He went on to play from 2018-2024 serving as team captain for his last 5 seasons. Recently stepping away from the game after being hired as the Executive Director for the Canadian Football League Players’ Association (CFLPA). During his playing days, Dave served as a player representative and Vice President of the CFLPA, while building a business around mentorship and performance for other professional athletes. He now proudly serves as the voice for all players of the CFL, bargains on their behalf and protects their rights as workers.
