Anita Abraham is driven by the big questions: how people learn, how different forms of knowledge can transform lives, and how education can be designed for justice. With over 20 years in higher education, she combines reflection, systems thinking, and a relational approach to design programs, student opportunities, and community partnerships that have a meaningful impact. She is the President of the CEWIL Canada Board of Directors, shaping national conversations on work-integrated learning. A past CivicAction DiverseCity and AFP Inclusion and Philanthropy fellow, Anita is completing her PhD at OISE, University of Toronto. Outside work and service, she’s a certified scuba diver, a Raptors fan (since day one), and always on the lookout for a fabulous muhammara.

Anita Abraham se penche sur de grandes questions. Comment apprend-on? Comment les différentes formes de connaissance peuvent-elles transformer des vies? Comment concevoir l’éducation pour servir la justice? Forte de plus de 20 ans d’expérience dans le secteur de l’enseignement supérieur, elle allie pensée systémique et approche relationnelle pour créer des partenariats communautaires, des programmes et diverses possibilités pour la population étudiante. Présidente du conseil d’administration d’ECAIT Canada, elle promeut l’apprentissage intégré au travail à l’échelle nationale. Ancienne membre de CivicAction, de DiverseCity et du groupe en inclusion et philanthropie de la Fondation AFP, elle est aujourd’hui candidate au doctorat à l’Institut d’études pédagogiques de l’Ontario de l’Université de Toronto. Partisane invétérée des Raptors depuis le premier jour, elle pratique la plongée sous-marine et ne dit jamais non à un délicieux muhammara.
