Tanya Palson is Executive Director of the Manitoba Building and Construction Trades Council, representing 12 affiliated unions and more than 10,000 skilled trades professionals. She also serves as Chair of Manitoba’s Apprenticeship and Certification Board. With a background in public policy, communications, and workforce development, Tanya is focused on strengthening Canada’s skilled trades pipeline, expanding apprenticeship opportunities, and advancing inclusive economic growth. Recognized for her collaborative leadership, she works across industry, labour, and government to align major infrastructure investments with long-term workforce strategies that support resilient communities and a competitive national economy.
