Bruce Parry has worked in the aviation sector for fourteen years in both the areas environment and sustainability. Bruce started his career with Airbus in Bristol in the UK in site-based environmental management, following successfully taking a BSc. in Environmental Quality and Resource Management from the University of the West of England as a mature student. Bruce moved to Bombardier Aerospace in Montreal in late 2007 to start the Design for Environment (DfE) program within Core Engineering in order to develop a process to reduce the environmental impact of products at the design stage. After successfully building the DfE program, he subsequently became Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility in 2011 and following the recent reorganization of the aerospace business, became Head of Sustainability, Product Development Engineering, maintaining the coordination of sustainability across the new aerospace business segments.
